Who runs Lottomatica?

The ADM register lists www.lottomatica.it under concession 16010, held by Goldbet Better Organization Italy S.p.A., which it shortens to GBO Italy S.p.A. Its current concession dates from 13 November 2025, when Italy's new licensing regime began.

Lottomatica Group's own site lists 6 online brands: Lottomatica, Better, Goldbet, Betflag, Planetwin365 and Totosì. The group's page links Better to the sports-betting section of www.lottomatica.it, so Better runs under the same concession, 16010. The other 4 run their own websites under concessions of their own, taken one by one in the next section.

What are Lottomatica's sister sites?

Goldbet is Lottomatica's sister site in the strict sense, because the same company holds both concessions, while Betflag, Planetwin365 and Totosì are group brands run by other companies. All 5 homepage footers, captured from Italy on 1 October 2026, give the same address, Via degli Aldobrandeschi 300 in Rome, and the same VAT group number, 15432831004, which Lottomatica Group prints as its own.

Goldbet: the same company, a separate account

Each concession has its own accounts, so a Goldbet account is separate from a Lottomatica one. The two meet in the cashier: a Quick2Cash e-money account can be tied to one Lottomatica account and one Goldbet account.

They share paperwork too: Lottomatica's own bank-withdrawal guide, read on 29 September 2026, names Goldbet twice, once in its account-holder rule and once as the phone support to call about a late transfer.

Of the 5 homepages, only Betflag's menu has a betting exchange, where you bet against other players: you can back a result, or lay it by offering odds of your own, and a bet goes through only once someone matches it.

Planetwin365: another company on the same platform

Planetwin365 has a company of its own but not a design of its own. Its homepage is built like Lottomatica's and Goldbet's: the same tabs in the same order, a footer linking back to Lottomatica Group, and a daily prize wheel. What changes is the colour scheme and the names: the wheel here is Ricarica la Fortuna rather than the Ruota dei Bonus, and the club tab reads Planet Club where Lottomatica's reads Premium Club.

Totosì: the footer that names Lottomatica Group

Totosì's footer is the only one of the 5 to say who directs the company: it places Totosì under the "direzione e coordinamento", the direction and coordination, of Lottomatica Group S.p.A., inside a VAT group it names "LOTTOMATICA".

Unlike the 3 sites on the Lottomatica layout, Totosì shows its payment methods on the homepage, in a row of logos under the sign-up form.

None of the 3, and none of the companies behind them, appears anywhere in the Gambling Commission's register files of 29 September 2026, so the answer under "Can you use Lottomatica from the UK?" below applies to all 5 brands.

What do you need to open an account?

Lottomatica accepts account holders aged 18 or over with an Italian tax code, the codice fiscale. Its online form opens by asking for that code and goes further only if no active account is tied to it, and each person may hold one account per concession. An account can also be opened at an authorised Lottomatica point of sale, where staff key in the details and the holder completes the form at the first login.

Name, date and place of birth must match the tessera sanitaria, the Italian health card, and the form cannot be completed without a weekly deposit limit.

Accepted documents are an identity card, passport or driving licence. Since 4 August 2026 a paper identity card has been refused for new accounts, even while it is still valid.

An account not validated within 2 days is suspended, and one still missing a document 60 days after registration is closed automatically.

The renewal, account-opening and ID-upload pages give the 2-day rule above, but the deposits page gives 30 days to send the document, with no more than €1,000 in deposits until it is approved.

Can you use Lottomatica from the UK?

A business based abroad still needs a Gambling Commission licence before its website or app can take players in Great Britain. Our standard explains how this site applies that rule. The Commission's register files downloaded on 29 September 2026 contain no business, trading name or web address for Lottomatica, GBO Italy or Goldbet Better Organization. Without that licence, the brand is not permitted to serve players here.

Residence in Italy matters in the cashier too. Quick2Cash requires stable residence in Italy, a +39 Italian mobile number and an Italian identity document. Anyone who is not an Italian national also needs a residence permit.

Being Italian does not change the picture if you live in Great Britain, because the Commission's rule turns on where the player is. Lottomatica asks about location too: its help page for poker players who see "not allowed to play for real money" asks whether they were playing from abroad. If you moved here with an account still open, only the withdrawable part of the balance can come out, under the method rules below.

For online play from home, pick a site that holds a Gambling Commission licence. Look up its name or web address on the Commission's public register before you sign up. What are Lottomatica's withdrawal limits and payout times?

The method pages add 3 rules to the ID check above. You can withdraw winnings only, as the card, PostePay and Sonect pages put it. The bank-transfer and Instant SEPA pages require the receiving account to be in your name, and the deposits page says the same for PayPal and Skrill. Card, PostePay, PayPal and Skrill withdrawals, like both kinds of bank transfer, appear in the cashier only after at least one successful deposit through the same method.

If you deposit through PayPal, which needs a verified PayPal account, winnings come back through PayPal only. The deposits page lists 17 methods. Cards, Google Pay and Apple Pay take €10 to €2,000, and PayPal €10 to €1,000. Bank-transfer deposits run from €5 to €100,000 and are credited within 2 to 3 working days.

Card withdrawals (Visa, Visa Electron and Mastercard) run from €10 to €2,000 per 24 hours, with no fee, and generally arrive 24 to 48 working hours after Lottomatica confirms the payment. You can link up to 6 cards, each to a single account, and must leave 24 hours between withdrawals. A request made on a Friday is counted from Monday, because Saturday and Sunday are not working days.

PostePay matches the card range and timing, stretching in exceptional cases to 5 days from confirmation. Check first that your card is enabled to receive funds. A request still pending, before confirmation, can be cancelled and made again.

Withdrawing by bank transfer covers €10 to €100,000, with no fee, and takes about 3 working days. Lottomatica may ask you to prove the IBAN is yours. Send a home-banking screenshot, a statement or the account contract showing the IBAN, your name and the bank's name through Messaggi > Scrivi messaggio.

Instant SEPA covers €10 to €50,000 at no cost and is generally immediate from confirmation, but only when your bank supports instant transfers. Otherwise the money moves at normal interbank speed. A request above €15,000 to a PostePay IBAN may fail and be sent back.

PayPal and Skrill withdrawals each run from €10 to €5,000 per 24 hours. Skrill requests are checked and processed within 3 working days of booking, then credited within 24 hours of confirmation. Lottomatica sets €100 as the threshold for automatic validation on Skrill.

Cash withdrawals at Lottomatica points of sale ended on 13 May 2026, and voucher withdrawals with them. The notice points to MuchBetter and Sonect instead. Sonect works from the mobile site or app and pays €20 to €250 a day. The first time, you pass an identity check inside Sonect, and after that each withdrawal gives you a barcode to show at the shop of your choice within 30 minutes.

What if a withdrawal is late or refused?

On a card or by Instant SEPA, count from the confirmation date shown in your account movements, not from the day you asked. On a card, give it 5 working days from confirmation, then ask Lottomatica for the bank tracking codes and take them to your bank. Chase a bank transfer once 3 working days have passed.

For Instant SEPA, allow 6 working days before contacting Lottomatica. Some banks refuse transfers from gambling sites, and Lottomatica asks you to check with yours for any block on transfers from abroad before you request one. A refused payment returns to your Lottomatica balance, generally within 5 to 7 working days and only after your bank formally rejects it.

PostePay payouts need the banking system's authorisation, and Lottomatica says it is not responsible for that outcome. If you are asked to prove the card is yours, send a PostePay statement showing your name and the card's last 4 digits through Messaggi > Scrivi messaggio.

How do the bonuses work, and who can have one?

Only residents of Italy can have one: the general bonus terms put "ESCLUSIVAMENTE", exclusively, in capitals. Bonuses are limited to 1 per person, household, tax code, email address, phone number and IP address or device. The casino welcome bonus can only be chosen while you register. Lottomatica can take a bonus back after misuse and can change or cancel promotions without notice.

Bonus money itself is never withdrawable, even when an account closes. It has to be played at least once before the winnings it produces can be withdrawn.

The Play Bonus works in 2 stages. Winnings made with it cannot be withdrawn: they must be played again to fill a wagering bar. When the bar reaches 100%, the Play balance converts into a Real Bonus, and only winnings from the Real Bonus can be withdrawn. Most games count 75% of each stake towards the bar, and some count 50%, 25%, 10% or 1%.

Lottomatica's own illustration shows the cap. A €50 Play Bonus that converts at up to 100% becomes a €50 Real Bonus when the bar is full, even if you leave the game holding €500. Leave on €10 and the Real Bonus is €10. The conversion happens only when you exit the game.

Provider bonuses, tied to a single studio's games, need playing only once, with every game counting 100%. Lottomatica describes any winnings from them as withdrawable straight away. A Play Bonus cannot be used in the Sports app, only on the website and in the Casino app. Separate Play Bonus balances cannot be combined, and a few cents left on an older one can stop a newer one from being played.

Which games, apps and support are there?

Casino games run on RNG software, which decides each result at random. The live casino is streamed, with a dealer or host running the game, and covers blackjack, roulette, baccarat, game shows, Sic Bo and poker games. Table games add blackjack and roulette variants, video poker, craps, Top Card, 7½, Punto Banco, Hi-Lo and solitaire.

Slots run in the browser, for real money or as a free demo. The slot filter lists 80 providers, among them NetEnt, Playtech, Pragmatic, Play'n GO, IGT and Nolimit City. Games can also be filtered by theme and game type, and Lottomatica says each game's own rules can vary with the offer. Its safer-gambling section also has a Probabilità di vincita page, with winning probabilities by game type, as a 2012 Italian decree requires.

Lottomatica lists 11 apps, from Casino, Sports and Poker to single-game apps for roulette, blackjack, Punto e Banco and 7 e ½. The iPhone apps are distributed through Apple's App Store, and the Android apps as files downloaded outside Google Play.

How do you reach support, and what do players say?

Customer service is on 0640400860, and the help centre's Invia una richiesta form takes written requests. Enter a wrong username or password 10 times in a row and the account is blocked for security. Only a call to that number unblocks it.

For a disputed live-casino hand, use the provider's chat inside the game first: Lottomatica says it generally settles problems within the same session. If it does not, write to support with the ADM session ID and the date and time of the hand itself, not of the session start. Add the hand or round number and an exact account of what happened.

Trustpilot's page for www.lottomatica.it showed 1,192 reviews on 29 September 2026. Of those, 1,088 gave one star, and 205 were posted in the previous 12 months. Trustpilot also notes that Lottomatica has not asked customers for reviews recently, so they may not be representative. Lottomatica has not replied to negative reviews either.

How do you set limits or exclude yourself?

The weekly deposit limit set at registration runs Monday to Sunday. A lower limit applies straight away, and a higher one waits 7 days. From 13 May 2026, an alert pops up after the first hour of continuous connection in each session.

Since 13 November 2025 Lottomatica has also asked for daily deposit, spending and time limits. If your account was opened before that date and you have not set them yet, a blocking pop-up at login stops play until you set them and accept the new gaming contract and the move to concession 16010. The daily limits apply only once Italy's new technical rules take effect. Lottomatica's notice on the new ADM rules gives that date as "13 novembre p.v.", the coming 13 November. The notice was last updated on 5 August 2026 and refers back to November 2025, so the date is 13 November 2026.

To exclude yourself, go to Area personale > Gioco responsabile > Autoesclusione. Lottomatica's self-exclusion pages, read on 29 September 2026, say it takes effect immediately and can cover Lottomatica alone or be extended "a tutti i concessionari", to all concessionaires. Fixed periods run from 7 days to 9 months and end on their own. An indefinite exclusion can be revoked only after 9 months, and the account reopens no sooner than 7 days after the revocation request.

While excluded you cannot play, deposit or open a new account, but you can still withdraw any balance that is withdrawable. Lottomatica says it must report each self-exclusion to ADM's register of gaming accounts, the Anagrafe dei Conti di Gioco. Whether you excluded yourself here or through GAMSTOP (see our safer gambling page), do not turn to Goldbet, or any other site, to get round it. Ask support to confirm that each account you hold, Lottomatica or Goldbet, is blocked.

Lottomatica's page lists Italy's national gambling helpline, 800 55 88 22, open Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 16:00. The Istituto Superiore di Sanità runs it as a free, anonymous service called Telefono Verde. The same Lottomatica page also points to Gambling Therapy, a free online service available around the clock in 24 languages. In England and Scotland, call GamCare's National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133. In Wales, NHS Wales takes the calls instead, on 0808 2819 265. Both lines are open 24 hours a day. This review is meant only for over-18s.
