What changed for UK casino bonuses in January 2026
Since 19 January 2026, the Gambling Commission has capped the wagering on any bonus at ten times. Its own example shows why: a £10 bonus at 50 times asks you to play through £500 before winnings can be withdrawn. Every offer in the table sits at 10x or below, and eight of them attach no wagering to spin winnings at all.
The same rules ended mixed-product promotions, where a bonus depended on playing two kinds of gambling, such as a bet and a slot. An offer that asks you to place a sports bet to unlock casino spins is no longer allowed from a UK-licensed operator.

Working out what a matched bonus asks of you
A 10x requirement multiplies a different figure at each brand, and the wording decides the total. These are worked examples from the published terms, not forecasts of any result.
- Casumo: a £200 deposit takes the full 50% match of £100. At 10x the bonus amount, you would need to wager £1,000 within 7 days.
- EU Casino: the full £25 match needs a £25 deposit, and 10x the bonus is £250 of wagering, plus 10x whatever the 50 spins win.
- Videoslots and Mr Vegas: a £50 first deposit brings a £50 bonus. The requirement is 10x the deposit, so £500 of casino play, and the bonus is paid out in 10% steps as you go.
Wagering counts the total of your stakes, not your losses, and every one of those stakes can still lose.
What £10 or £20 actually buys in spins
Spin face value is the stake the spins carry, and it is the ceiling on what the operator gives up front. PlayOJO's 50 spins for a £10 first deposit are worth £5 in stakes, with winnings paid as cash. NetBet's 100 spins for £20 of slot play come to £10 in stakes, and Betway's 150 spins for a £20 deposit and stake come to £15.
Duelz offers the most spins, up to 140 over a week, worth £14 in stakes for a £25 deposit. Its spin winnings arrive as bonus funds with 10x wagering, capped at £100 a pack, which makes them a different thing from cash spins. Where an offer gives no stake per spin or no number of spins, the table leaves the face value blank rather than guess.
Offers that promise something for nothing
