KEY TAKEAWAY
No deposit does not mean no conditions. Check eligibility, wagering, game restrictions, expiry and withdrawal rules separately.
What a no-deposit bonus actually describes
A no-deposit offer gives an eligible account a promotional benefit without an initial qualifying deposit. That benefit might be bonus credit or a specified number of free spins. It should be possible to identify exactly what is being offered before signing up.
Separate three things when reading the page: what you receive, what you must do to use it, and what you must do to withdraw any eligible winnings. A large headline can leave all three unclear.
This is a conditions guide. Our directory reviews five real Italian-market casinos, with no verified UK-eligible no-deposit offer. StarCasino limits registration to Italy; Lottomatica’s bonus terms require Italian residence. Read the individual reviews.
Check UK eligibility before the bonus
A European brand name or payment in pounds does not establish eligibility. Match the actual website to its legal operator, check the relevant register and read the residence rules in the account terms.
For Great Britain, the operator requires a Gambling Commission licence. An overseas licence on its own does not establish authorisation to serve that market.
UK Gambling Commission · remote licensingPay attention to the qualifying account: “new customer” can have a specific meaning in the terms. Look for household restrictions, excluded locations, identification requirements and whether an existing account makes you ineligible.
Follow our licence-checking guide →Five details to read together
| The detail | What to establish |
|---|---|
| The benefit | Cash balance, restricted bonus credit or free spins? For spins, what is the value of each spin? |
| Wagering | Which balance has the requirement, what is the multiple, and which games count? |
| Time limit | When does activation end, and when must any playthrough be completed? |
| Restrictions | Are particular games, stakes, payment methods or accounts excluded? |
| Withdrawal | What can become withdrawable, and are there clearly stated caps or verification steps? |
If a condition is missing or ambiguous, keep it marked as unknown. A comparison becomes less useful when missing information is quietly treated as favourable.
Translate wagering into a number
For a bonus-only example, £20 at 10× corresponds to £200 in qualifying stakes when the chosen game contributes 100%. A contribution below 100% changes the amount of actual play needed to meet that illustration.
The UKGC introduced a maximum 10× bonus wagering requirement from 19 January 2026. Always read the full offer alongside the multiplier.
UKGC · bonus wagering requirementsWhat does wagering mean
in pounds?
£20 bonus × 10 ÷ 1 game contribution
A calculation of required turnover, not money you must deposit or a prediction of losses or winnings. Other terms can apply. Declining a bonus is always an option.
Turnover is not an estimate of what you will win or lose. It also does not tell you whether a promotion is worth taking. You can decline a bonus and avoid its additional conditions.
Free spins: count and value are different
“20 free spins” describes a quantity. To understand the benefit, you also need the value per spin, the eligible game and the rules applied to resulting winnings.
For example, 20 illustrative spins at £0.10 represent £2 of spin stakes. That is not £2 of cash you can necessarily withdraw, and it says nothing about the outcome of the spins. Keep stake value, prize outcome and withdrawal status separate.
Check whether the spins are issued at once or in stages, and whether unused spins expire. Do not extend a session just because a promotion has a deadline.
A useful final check
Before accepting, you should be able to describe the offer in one plain sentence: the benefit, the qualifying account, the main playthrough condition and the expiry. If you cannot, return to the terms.
Choose your spending and time limits independently of any promotional amount. A bonus is optional; clarity about the account is essential.

01Are no-deposit bonuses guaranteed to be available?
No. Availability is specific to the operator, account and date. This guide does not list or promise any current no-deposit promotion.
02Does no deposit mean no identity checks?
No. A promotion’s funding condition and an account’s verification requirements are separate. Read the account rules before providing information or activating an offer.
03Can I compare these offers by the headline alone?
The headline omits too much. Compare the wagering base, restrictions, expiry and withdrawal conditions alongside the benefit, and keep unknown details clearly marked.
